XPad is a sound module app and Audio Unit v3 plugin designed to deliver modern pad sounds on the iPad platform. Glissando

XPad introduces a novel approach to achieve realistic large interval Glissando, allowing seamless tone gliding from octave to octave at varying speeds without artificial effects. The app enhances usability for keyboard players, offering intuitive controls for blending Glissando with polyphonic notes effortlessly and swiftly without disrupting performance.

Tone Width

The app offers a unique "Tone Width" control feature that enables users to morph sounds in real-time from thin and clean to rich and massive, simulating a multitude of pad synths working harmoniously at your fingertips.

Sensible Control

XPad ensures that all sound controls are logically designed for each sound, providing fine-tuned adjustments for individual elements. Users can remotely alter settings via MIDI, with key controls mapped to standard keyboard features for seamless integration and dynamic sound manipulation.

Never Lost

With a library of up to 462 sounds, XPad offers efficient sound search capabilities based on various criteria, ensuring users can quickly find the perfect sound they need.

Connectivity

XPad boasts user-friendly connectivity features, allowing easy setup with keyboards and providing options for wireless MIDI connections via Bluetooth, MIDI input management, integration with other apps via Inter-App Audio, and compatibility with DAWs through Audio Unit v3 plugin support.

Recorder

The built-in MIDI recorder in the app enables users to capture musical ideas easily and share them as audio or MIDI files for further editing.

Sound Sets

The app offers 14 optional sound sets with diverse categories encompassing 462 sounds in total. While focusing on pad sounds primarily, XPad also provides atmospheric, percussive, synthesizer sounds, and more, catering to varied sound needs including film and entertainment production.
